It wasn't until Minnesota that we actually started taking pictures. To be honest there wasn't much to take pictures of unless you're a farm aficionado.

The rest of Day Three was through thunderstorms and farmland. We were heading into the plains states where the land is flat and tornados are free to roam. As we entered South Dakota the local radio station we were listening to was broadcasting news of a "twister" just north of our location. I was excited because the land was so flat you could see for miles and miles and I wanted to see me a "tornada". Ange was nervous, she thought we were actually in the tornado because everytime the wind blew the truck wobbled.

A few hours later we reached out KOA. It was swampy and cold because of all the rain and wind. We ate our first buffalo burgers and shared our cabin with a couple of birds. We thought they were going to peck our heads everytime we tried to enter the cabin but instead they let us watch as they...ya know....did "it".
